The proposed development is located in Costa Rica consisting of 26 condominium units nestled in the town of Potrero in the Surfside Estates community. Potrero is located on the West side, (Pacific Coast) of Costa Rica in the province of Guanacaste. Daily flights into Liberia International Airport allows an easy commute to Potrero at just a 30 minute drive.
Businesses in the surrounding towns of Brasilito and Tamarindo are flourishing. These two towns are located just south of Potrero and are only a ten to twenty minute drive. There is an estimated 7.5 billion dollars in development occurring in the outlying areas of Potrero. This includes the Hotel Intercontinental, Radisson, Hyatt, Rosewood hotels, Ritz Carlton, Marriott and the five star Four Seasons hotel. There are several championship golf courses and an abundance of fishing in this Pacific coast region.
Hurricanes do not hit this coastline mainly because of the unique climate and geographical location of this region. The days overall are very warm and less humid than the southern and central parts of the country while nights are comfortably cool. The North Pacific Ocean flows into the Potrero Bay where the sunsets are picturesque.

Project Overview
Introduction
The Alto Vista project consists of 26 Condominium units. Situated on approx, two acres of land. The condominiums will be located on one acre of buildable land; with free simple title ownership, while the remaining one acre will be left as a green zone. This green zone can be utilized as a recreational portion of the project with no permanent structures.
The project will be incorporate within a walled area, with swimming pool, covered BBQ area and a 24/7 secure guarded gate the site has water, electricity and cable to the property line and is above the street level. There is also a road fronting the property. Direct construction costs have been estimated to be $105.00 per sq. this includes all site development, amenities and direct unit construction. The permits and fees have been analyzed and found to be approximately $85,000.00.
UNIT FEATURES
Joining a Worldwide movement to conserve our environment, the team at Guanacaste Verde has developed a plan to include energy efficient products in this project, including double pane windows and solid core doors made from local wood. The air-conditioning units are specially designed to cool specific zones reducing unnecessary usage. A septic system developed in Holland will be used on the site to recycle waste water into grey water, keeping out common areas green and lush.
